Grammer top seats on the new SASA hybrid buses in Bozen

The 32 new hybrid buses represent the effort towards more silent and less emission mobility, but with an eye towards the professionals who take them to the roads every day.

A bus fleet increasingly respectful of the environment, able to guarantee greater safety and comfort for the driver. The 32 new hybrid buses that came into operation with SASA in Bozen, Laives and Meran represent the effort towards more silent and less emission mobility, but with an eye towards the professionals who take them to the roads every day.

For this reason the Grammer top seat, the MSG 90.6 Tourea Climate, was chosen. The TOUREA Climate enables the driver to control the temperature of their environment whilst driving. On hot days, body moisture is removed and the seat remains pleasantly cool due to our active climate system. And on cold days, you can use the seat heating to raise the temperature.

A choice made by SASA (the company that manages urban and suburban public transport services for people in the municipalities of Bolzano, Laives, Merano and Lana) which testifies the Company's constant commitment to providing an increasingly green public transport service, comfortable and safe.

At the presentation of the new hybrid buses, the president of SASA, Francesco Morandi, and the director, Petra Piffer, remarked that the new vehicles not only guarantee less emissions, but also greater safety thanks to the more sophisticated instrumentation on board.

The Grammer equipment is a testament to SASA's focus on driver comfort and health, as for the KINGMAN E TOUREA series MSG 90.6 series, Grammer has received the TÜV LGA QualiTest Product testing and certification ergonomic approval certificate. They are the first seats for commercial vehicles that get this certificate.

Finally, with the latest purchases, the average age of the SASA bus fleet is lowered to just over 5 years. And the provincial councilor for mobility Daniel Alfreider has defined the purchase of new hybrid buses "a significant step for improving the quality of public transport also in terms of comfort for users and drivers, making a significant contribution to air quality and of urban life".
