Grammer at Agritechnica 2025: how driver seats make agricultural machinery more efficient, safer, and sustainable

At Agritechnica 2025, from November 9th to 15th, Hannover returns to be the most important meeting place for agricultural professionals from around the world. As the world's leading supplier of off-road driver seats, Grammer will present its current product range for agricultural machinery at booth E45 in Hall 17.

Among other products, the MSG 297/2900 model, a true highlight in the driver's seat sector, will be in the spotlight. As Grammer's first fully electric driver's seat in the off-road segment, it brings the "absolute comfort" typical of passenger cars to the work vehicles of Grammer's international customers. In terms of operation and digital connectivity options, the MSG 297/2900 also offers everything modern farmers expect from a state-of-the-art driver's seat.

The MSG 297/2900 OEM seat is the result of Grammer's decades of development experience in the agricultural sector. This experience is also evident in the aftermarket seats, whose Maximo and Compacto model series will be presented at Agritechnica. Like the MSG 297/2900, they use an ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor) seat belt system similar to that found in passenger cars. Unlike traditional ALR (Automatic Locking Retractor) systems, which "hold" the driver to the seat, the ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor) system only locks in an emergency; the belt releases during "normal" movement. This significantly improves flexibility and comfort.

But the stand isn't just dedicated to new Grammer products. Long before sustainability gained its current importance in society, the company placed great emphasis on high-quality production and providing customers with long-lasting seats. Grammer continues to live up to this promise and also offers a comprehensive range of spare parts, which will be presented and offered at the Agritechnica stand under the motto "Sustainable Value Preservation." Spare parts and spare parts kits often offer an attractive alternative to purchasing new seats and guarantee the usual high standards of comfort, ergonomics, and quality.

ALL BENEFITS AT A GLANCE

High degree of modularity:

With just a few versions, you can equip a large number of vehicle models and meet a very wide range of customer requirements.

Clean design:

Fewer interfaces or connection elements in the seat suspension reduce the risk of leakage and open up free space for future enhancements.

High-grade overall feel:

Modern design, luxurious materials, a more stable structure, and hidden mounting points lend the entire interior a sense of refined quality.

Personalized equipment options:

Available in electric or manual, with two-, three- or four-point seatbelts, with or without CAN controller, as well as a range of comfort extras – allowing you to customize the seat to your own specifications.

Luxurious comfort:

Electric seat adjustment with memory function, multi-stage seat heating and cooling, as well as a massage function deliver car-like comfort for your offroad vehicles.
